Our Peru trip Program provides you with the classic Peru trip package to explore the Peruvian highlands and view the most beautiful natural scenery. This exceptional program begins in Lima, "The City of Kings," and continues with visits to Arequipa and the spectacular Colca Canyon.After that, we'll go to Puno and see the beautiful Lake Titicaca. Following that, we will go to the majestic Incan city of Cusco and the several notable archaeological sites in the Sacred Valley. Last but not least, we will cap off your adventure with a private tour of the sacred Incan fortress of Machu Picchu! Day 1: Arrival to Lima – Perú
Arrive in Lima at any time. Our representative will be waiting for you outside holding a board with your name on it. Upon arrival assistance at the airport and transfer to the Hotel. Please allow a couple of hours to get settled in your hotel before your first tour starts.
At 14:00 we will pick you up at your hotel to begin your Traditional Lima City tour. We will start by visiting Waca Pucllana which was a ceremonial and administrative pre-Incan building.
Then we'll head downtown to view the Cathedral of Lima and Francisco Pizarro's tomb, as well as the catacombs of the Monastery of San Francisco, the National Congress, and the Torre Tagle Palace. We will then tour Lima's modern districts, San Isidro neighborhoods, and areas with great views of the Pacific Ocean.
After the tour will dropped you at your Hotel.

Day 2: Lima – Arequipa
After a great breakfast at your hotel, our representative will pick you up and take you to Lima International Airport, where you will fly to Arequipa for an hour. Upon, your arrival in Arequipa, commonly known as ""The White City,"" Muyundi Travel staff will meet you and drop you off at your selected Hotel.
Our Arequipa city tour will start between 14:00hrs and 14:30hrs in the afternoon. On this tour, we will see the main square, the Cathedral of Arequipa, the Cloisters, La Compaia de Jesus Church, the Yanahuara Colonial District, the San Lazaro neighborhood, and the Selva Alegre residential district.
We will also go to the Santa Catalina Monastery, which has been closed for nearly 400 years but can still show us its beautiful corridors, plazas, and gardens. Our journey will conclude in the town plaza. You may like to enjoy a wonderful dinner at one of the many surrounding restaurants at this time, or we can arrange for you to be dropped back to your hotel after the tour finished.

Day 3: Arequipa – Colca Canyon
Hotel breakfast, then we will pick you up from the hotel at 07:30 and land departure toward exciting excursion towards the Colca Valley. On the way, we'll pass through Pampa Caahuas and visit the Aguada Blanca National Reserve. The beautiful views of the volcanoes Misti, Chachani, and Pichu Pichu will wow our clients.
Upon arrival at the reserve, they will get to see wild vicuas in their natural settings, which is a national icon. Then we go to Vizcachani and the Pampas de Toccra. Finally, we can see Arequipa's volcanoes from the Mirador de Los Andes in Patapampa (4800m).
We stop in the Mirador before continuing on to the Colca Valley. We can view the spectacular pre-Columbian terraces that indigenous Collaguas are still farming.
Once we get to the town of Chivay, transfer to the hotel.
There are no planned activities, so check into the hotel and rest up.

Day 4: Colca Canyon – Puno
Today, we'll get up at 6:00 a.m. to eat breakfast at the hotel before moving on to the Condor Cross Viewpoint, where we'll be able to observe and admire the flight of the condors. These magnificent Andean birds have become a symbol of the Andes Mountain Range. From this vantage point, we will also be able to appreciate the depth of the Colca Canyon.
This is approximately 4,160m or 13,650ft deep, which is double the depth of the Grand Canyon in the United States. After leaving the viewpoint, we will travel to Maca and Yanque, both of which have classic colonial architecture.
After lunch, you will be transferred to the bus terminal, from which you will travel for Puno. This trip takes about 5 hours, and when you arrive in Puno, Muyundi Travel workers will be waiting to transfer you to your chosen accommodation.

Day 5: Puno
Hotel breakfast, pick up from the hotel at 07:00 and transfer to Puno's port. The Uros Floating Islands will be the first stop on our voyage. The Uros are the indigenous people who dwell on these man-made islands built of cattail cultivated in Lake Titicaca. To avoid fires, the houses are built on top of each other.
We'll spend an hour on the Island of Uros before heading to the Island of Taquile. It is important to note that the natives speak Quechua rather than Aymara. Taquile Island was previously part of the Inca Empire, which still impacts the architecture today.
When we get on the island, we will be given some basic information and given a tour till luncheon. Puno will be picked up by the boat in the afternoon.
The clients will be transferred back to the hotel from Puno's port.

Day 6: Puno - Cusco
Hotel breakfast, our representative will pick you up at the hotel at 06:00. Then, we will transfer you to the bus station, and take the bus to Cusco. The trip from Puno to Cusco takes the better part of the day, with stark, beautiful scenery through the high Altiplano region.
Take multiple short breaks for panoramic views and historical ruins at Pucara, La Raya, Raqchi, and Andahuaylillas.
Stop in Sicuani town to have lunch. Then we continue our trip to the city of Cusco.
Upon arrival in Cusco, assistance at the Bus station and transfer to your selected Hotel.

Day 7: Cusco
You'll have the morning free today to explore the City at your leisure.
There are numerous things to do in Cusco, but wandering its small passageways and stone walls is a one-of-a-kind experience. Other attractions in Cusco include the historic San Pedro Market, the bohemian area of San Blas, or one of the many museums, such as the Museum of Pre-Colombian Art, Casa Concha, and others.
Our Cusco tour will begin between 13:00hrs and 13:20hrs in the afternoon. First, we'll go to the Cathedral of Cusco, which is close to the Plaza de Armas. The excursion then continues to the Qorikancha (Sun Temple) and four incredible archeological sites: Sacsaywaman, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and Tambomachay.
Our journey will conclude in the main square. Following the tour, you may like to dine in one of the many restaurants located around the main square. Alternatively, we may arrange for you to be dropped off at your hotel.

Day 8: The Incas' Sacred Valley – Machupicchu
Breakfast at your hotel, then we will pick you up between 8:00 am and 8:30 am, to start your day tour of Sacred Valley.
Our first stop will be in Pisaq, an incredible Incan archaeological site with spectacular terraced fields. Its crops include a large range of corn, kiwicha, and hundreds of different types of potatoes. Afterward, go down into the quaint little town and wander through its colorful market, where it can buy intricate, beautifully hand-crafted products.

We then travel to Ollantaytambo, a mountaintop Inca military, religious, and agricultural center. In contrast to other little settlements, this one has preserved its original Incan architecture, with stunning stone structures and twisting passageways.
Following the tour, we go to the Ollantaytambo railway station to board the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed and transferred to the Hotel.

Day 9: Machupicchu – Cusco
Early Breakfast in the Hotel, then we will be picking you up at your hotel lobby to take the bus going to Machu Picchu.
The guided tour begins around 07:30 a.m., with the guide skillfully directing you through the spectacular ruins and main streets. Then stroll around the town squares and climb the elaborately carved stone stairways. According to esoteric understanding, Machu Picchu is the world's spiritual center. The guided tour lasts approximately two hours and thirty minutes.
After your visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, you will take the bus back down to Aguas Calientes for a great lunch in a nice restaurant.
Finally, you will begin your return journey to Cusco by train. When you arrive at the railway station, one of our representatives will be ready to take you to your accommodation in Cusco.

Day 10: Cusco – Lima
Our representative will pick you up from your hotel lobby and drop you off at the airport to catch your flight back to Lima.
